My approach

Joe Canti Naturopata Roma Bn Square

What to expect from a visit with me?

My role is to accompany my clients in improving their health by:

  • Exploring root causes behind symptoms.
  • Considering all systems of the body as interconnected.
  • Considering not only the physical body, but psycho-emotional, energetic and spiritual aspects too.
  • Educating around a generally healthy lifestyle.
  • Reframing problems as opportunities for greater self-awareness & personal growth.

The Naturopathic visit

  1. During a visit, I’ll spend a long time asking in depth questions about various aspects of your health such as exercise, circadian rhythms, sleep, nutrition, stress management, personal relationships and other aspects of your lifestyle.
  2. I might use other tools such as iridology and bioresonance testing to evaluate your health in the context of the reason for your visit.
  3. At the end of the visit, I’ll make recommendations and explain why they will be relevant in your case.
  4. We’ll then have a short catch-up call a few weeks later to assess progress and organise follow-up visits, if necessary.

Areas of specialisation and recommendations

During my own health experiences and my studies, I have gravitated towards hormonal and metabolic issues with a focus on sleep, stress management and circadian rhythms. Other important areas include eye health, histamine issues and gut health, and in my quest to resolve my own health issues, I have learned the value not only of different perspectives, but also of seeking out lifestyle modifications that actually work. I also believe that reframing and making sense of health issues represents an important part of the process of healing.

Fundamentally, I take a scientific approach when evaluating root causes and making suggestions and I spend a lot of time reading and evaluating studies in an attempt to build up a more complete picture of what is actually going on. I also incorporate clinical observations from others in the field as well as the ancient wisdom of traditions such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine as more often than not, they give us new perspectives and different ways of approaching things.

I take care to stay within the bounds of my profession, and if I believe that you’d be better served by another health professional, I will always let you know.
